Went to Matches tonight for a friends birthday. Food was tasty, service was good. I ordered two appetizers one was Brie and one was chicken wings. I had asked one if the servers for a finger bowl, unfortunately he provided me with boiling hot water that when I dipped my hand in I burnt my fingers. Now maybe this wouldn’t have been so bad but since I have psoriasis on my hands my skin immediately was burnt. The waitress saw that I had wrapped my hand in cold towels so she informed her manager that I had been burned. He arrived at he table offering me a first aid kit, I advised him that this wouldn’t work for me as I have psoriasis and open wounds on my hands and now that I have just been burned and I am ultra sensitive to ointments because of my skin condition. He never extended an apology fior the situation instead left me with the impression that because he extended the offer of his medical kit that this was sufficient. Sorry nut an apology goes a long way. And seriously who gives a finger bowl with boiling hot water.
